The Irish association organised the first summer road for the rovers in Ireland from the 29th of July to the 4th of August 2022. This was the first activity was organised to restart the red branch in the male section. The Irish association rovers were joined by the 4 rovers from the French association and one rover from Poland.
The rovers started their journey from the rock of Cashel. This path commonly known as St. Declan’s way is an ancient pilgrimage from the time of St. Declan who lived in the 4th Century. The Rovers finished the road in Ardmore at the tomb of St. Declan. During the summer road the General Commissioner of the Irish association- Adrian made his rover departure renewing the promise to continue a life of service.
