The Federal council of UIGSE (International union of Guides & Scouts of Europe- Ireland) was held on the 01st and 02nd of October in Belgium. During the federal council all the participating associations presented an overview of the activities from the previous scouting year.

The federal bureau presented the moral and financial report, which was accepted by the council. Preceding the council, Guides and Scouts of Europe- Ireland had sent an application to be recognised as a candidate member of UIGSE. During the council the member associations accepted the application of the Irish association to be recognised as a candidate member of UIGSE.

During the council Hungary, United Kingdom and Albania were accepted as observer members.
